EMG's legal status

EMG is legally registered as a not-for-profit trust (Reg.No. IT 921/95) and  is registered with the Department of Social Development as a Non-Profit Organisation (Reg.No. 024-269-NPO)

An independent Board of Trustees governs EMG and decides on finance, policy and direction. EMGs Director (who is a full-time staff member and a trustee ex-officio) manages the full-time professional staff members.

Where our money comes from

EMG has an annual turnover of approximately R5 million, the bulk of which is sources from international donor agencies. Over the past few years, donors have included:
