**Siz Mazoe at SAWC Working Group meeting,**
**East London, July 2022**

The South African Water Caucus [SAWC] mourns the loss of Sis Mazoe deeply. Siz Mazoe was an integral part of the Eastern Cape Water Caucus, Eco Design Education, and local projects like Makhaza Food Growers in Cape Town, amongst many others.

Sis Mazoe’s decisive thinking and passionate participation was an example for all SAWC members, and we remember her for her ability to both correct us when we were wrong but love us regardless, showing her caring and mothering spirit.

Siz Mazoe’s helping hand was always offered to others, as well as a continuous willingness to learn from others. Her participation in SAWC will be greatly missed and her absence will be felt by all members. We will miss her very vocal participation in SAWC, but we will remember her voice and feel her spirit forever.
